From the beginning in 1991, Dakar Cars has always strived to offer a complete service for its customers. In the early days, this was to supply a kit of parts to construct the Dakar 4x4. This led to many overseas sales and set the seed in place for Dakar to one day source products from overseas.
The Land Rover service and repair business has grown steadily year on year and now has a management team firmly in place to continue what has been established over the years and has become a multi-award winning independent garage with a strong customer base.
American vehicles and motorcycles have been Barry Chantler's passion for over 30 years but it was not until his first visit to the USA in 2012 that the formula for a business was put into place. After extensive research and subsequent visits to the USA, Dakar-Imports is now up and running. We now have premises in Daytona and can offer warehousing for any products to consolidate items before shipment, negotiations are underway to open direct trade links to car & motorcycle dealers across Florida to give us the best buying opportunities.
