Swirl
Flap Removal
Many car
manufacturers now have a piece of technology that
causes a swirl in the cylinder to "aid in
combustion" of the fuel delivered which is a
fantastic idea in theory however there is one
crucial design flaw in this idea and this is that
the metal flap along with it's steel pivot pin can
become loose and get ingested by the engine causing
damage to the pistons, cylinder bores and cylinder
head.
Most
people don't even know they're fitted until it's too
late!
We now
offer a removal service for BMWs from 2000 onwards
with the M47 2.0l Diesel and M57 3.0 Diesel engines
(this does not apply to LandRovers or Rovers with
the same engines as they did not have swirl flaps
fitted)
Please

A close
call for this 130,000 mile E39
and this 2006 E60
has a new lease of life!
The damage
that can be caused is catastrophic to the piston,
injector and cylinder head as shown below
